The Hardest Thing

The hardest, most difficult thing any human can do... is be their true selves.
Especially when what feels truest to you is against the ideals and principles you've grown to believe in and aspire to.
And also when your truest, most natural self, is in complete defiance of the society around you.
It's very hard to be the only one who believes in you!!
It's very hard to follow your heart instead of your eyes, emotions, and thoughts...

Some are here to fuck everything up. On purpose. Some are here to raise a knife. Some are here to throw tables over.
Some are here to look fear in the eyeball and say Let. My. People. Go.
Some are here to smile and spread beautiful flowers. Some are here to smile and dance joyously. Some are here to walk the darkness, carry a sword, and bring light and truth to places most never understand, in order to keep balance.
You are not crazy or evil or abandoned. You have the capacity to make choices and stay true to the most bizarre mission of all. To walk in the dark, without becoming the dark.
We are few. Rare. Most of us don't make it. It's just too lonely.
